先日、アメリカ合衆国ミネソタ州にて、6歳の少年Ethanが行方不明になりました。
少年の捜索に600人以上のボランティが参加しました。
少年を発見したのは、赤外線カメラを搭載したDJI Matrice210を利用して捜索していたボランティアでした。
DJI Matrice210は、トウモロコシ畑にて人影の熱を発見、救出に至りました。
「あのドローンがなければ、彼を見つけることはできませんでした。」と保安官のJoel Brott氏は言っています。
ボランティアのドローンパイロットによって救出された人は、彼で292番目になります。
地元の警察や消防がドローンを使って人助けをする日は、そう遠くないかもしれません。
